MELUNG, BANYUMAS – Gerakan Desa Membangun dan Pengelola Nama Domain Internet Indonesia (PANDI) sepakat untuk bekerjasama mengkampanyekan domain tingkat kedua .id baru “desa.id” melalui sebuah program #1000webdesa. “Mulai hari ini, Jumat, 30 Agustus 2013, atas nama PANDI, dengan ini saya nyatakan program 1000 web desa resmi dimulai” ujar Sigit Widodo, salah satu Ketua PANDI, dalam sambutan resminya disela sesi pelatihan website Desa, Festival Desa TIK di Desa Melung, Banyumas (30/8/2013).

Spontan, para peserta pelatihan website Desa yang terdiri dari Kepala Desa dan perangkat Desa dari berbagai Kabupaten di Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Barat itu menyambutnya dengan tepuk tangan meriah.

“Kami akan memberikan fasilitas domain desa.id gratis 1 tahun pertama, untuk setiap Desa yang mendaftar melalui Gerakan Desa Membangun, sedangkan hosting dan websitenya teman-teman GDM siap membantu” lanjut Sigit, menjawab beberapa pertanyaan dari salah seorang Kepala Desa.

Program #1000webdesa dimulai 31 Agustus 2013 hingga tahun 2014. Ditargetkan setidaknya ada 1000 Desa yang mendaftar domain desa.id serta mampu mempublikasikan Desa-nya melalui website secara aktif.

Untuk pelaksanaan program #1000webdesa, Relawan TIK Banyumas didapuk menjadi salah satu fasilitator, yang bertanggungjawab mengurusi proses pendaftaran domain desa.id, setting web hosting, installasi content management system hingga memberikan panduan teknis penulisan di website Desa dan panduan bagi para Relawan TIK di daerah lain yang ingin membantu Desa-desa di wilayah mereka.
